This is a hard one for me because I'm changing, but of course my family is holding to their traditional beliefs. On the other side, my brother chose to flip the table quite literally and is living everything opposite of what we were taught when we grew up.

I understand it to a point, it's what I'm going thru as well, but feeling confused is definitely a common feeling for me.

It's hard when the family expectation is that you be and act a certain way, then they are mistified when you act a different way.

Sounds like you are finding your peace, and I'm happy that you are gaining that.

It's hard to know the proper response to something as vulnerably revealing --and well done-- as this.

"Sorry you went through that; it's beautifully written," (no, that's woefully insufficient).

But I am, and it is (and it is).
