Not that I ever forget how intuitive and sensitive and brilliant you are, but this piece...it touched me deeply. Aren't we the lucky ones to have loved so well?
Oh, mama.. this is so sweet. So so sweet. Thank you. Yes! I am so grateful for all the love I have had, and continue to have, in my life. It could make me cry!
Oh Abbey, this is so lovely. I have felt every airport feel you describe. In the days when I made my living traveling, when I would land at my hometown airport, after fetching luggage and all that, once in my car, I would roll down all the windows and blast Linda Ronstadt on the drive home. It was my way of exorcising all that the airports had done to me on that trip.
Aww Jill!! That’s so sweet of you. Thank you. This is an example of that visual photographic mind I was talking about the other day! It was a nice writing exercise to try to paint it for others to see. Thank you for reading, that means a lot❤️
I loved reading this knowing how your mind works in images like mine does! Makes me think that maybe I could pull of more writing than I think I can…you’re inspiring me! ❤️😉
Jill!! Oh my goodness, that is so sweet and kind of you. You absolutely could! I didn't study to be a writer, never considered myself one.. just one day I started doing it. Just started writing what was in my mind how it was laid before me, and it felt really good. It's really helped me in so many ways ❤️ xo

Aww, love how you describe airports. YES! Our departures, arrivals, each with its own distinct flavor. Even the lay overs! 😉💜
Yes!! I didn’t even mention the layovers!! You’re so right. Thank you for all your support, Joanie. It means so so much ❤️
I loved this essay!
Aww thank you so much!!! xoxo
